Final Note for Kentucky

We really did have a fantastic time in Kentucky, visiting with old friends, driving around checking out the area, enjoying the warmth and friendliness of Bowling Green, dreaming about maybe relocating there some day, but to make the trip complete we decided to check out the hospital. Yes, the day before we were to fly home, Zach threw up all day, late that night I became concerned about him and called the Kaiser nurse on call who advised us to take him to the emergency room. At the emergency room they decided to admit him to the hospital for severe dehydration. They ultimately diagnosed him with strep throat and put him on antibiotics. He ended up being in the hospital a day and a half due to the level of his dehydration and we had to reschedule our flight. I would recommend Southwest Airlines to anyone as they ended up being very gracious about rescheduling the flight for no charge. We delayed the flight one day and basically ended up taking Zach from the hospital to the airport. We were very happy when we arrived home safe and sound. The antibiotics really worked well and the next day he was a new man again.
